To see Dad again - I can't feel bad You'll have a better life than you've ever had. No more hurt - No more pain Only happiness & love again. You've been so lonely since Dad went home. Now you are together & no longer alone. I have been so lucky to have you this long Sometimes I'm selfish & I often feel wrong. To wish you back so we could talk And laugh or maybe just go for a walk. I miss you & Dad deeply. I cannot express How lonely I feel and sometimes depressed How I wish you were still here But the love & memories will hold you always near. Watching you leave us, slowly yet too quickly It was hard to accept as you were never sickly. Day by day, test by test Each day getting more difficult than the rest. You lay so helpless and all I could do Was hold your hand & tell you what was new. To stroke your hair, to wipe a tear And pray to God that you had no fear. When your time to leave came near I'm so glad we were able to be there, dear. To tell you we love you & I hope you could feel, Our sadness, our gladness & feelings so real. Sleep in peace dear Mother. We love you, We miss you Our prayers will always be with you In our minds, in our heart You will forever be a part.
