Marjoe Vilborg Gunlogson was born June 14, 1910, on Riverside farm to Peter and Vilborg (Bertha) Gudmundson. Marjoe graduated from Minneota High School, then took Teacher's Training (Normal) at Canby, Minnesota. She taught rural school for one year before she married Steve Gunlogson on August 26, 1930. Marjoe lived for 66 years on the farm they shared in Swede Prairie Township, then spent her last ten years at the Madison Avenue Apartments in Minneota. She passed away February 15, 2007, in Minneota. She is survived by five children: Peter Gunlogson of Marshall, Minnesota, Irene Gunlogson of Minneota, Neil and Elin Gunlogson of Porter, Minnesota, and Eric (and Kathy) Gunlogson of Fridley, Minnesota; three grandchildren: Angela Gunlogson of Marshall, Laura (and Dean) Sickles of Rye, New York, and Bill Gunlogson of St. Paul; one great granddaughter, Ella Rain Sickles; many nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law, Alice Gunlogson of Minneapolis and Olive Gudmundson of Clarissa, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve, her son Mark, granddaughter Jennifer, daughter-in-law Ruth, sister Sophia Gudmundson and brothers Fred and Floyd Gudmundson.
