Marius Anderson was born on February 16, 1913 in Ten Mile Lake Township to parents Mads and Sarah (Skallen) Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church of Boyd, MN. Marius attended Rural School District # 55. Marius lived in the Boyd area his entire life, until he moved to Clarkfield with his sisters in October 1997. He enjoyed farming and especially cutting wood. Marius passed away at the Clarkfield Care Center on Saturday, August 29, 1998 at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 14 days. He is survived by his sisters, Gena and Jennie of Clarkfield and several cousins in Norway and the United States. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, John.
