Marianne Barbara Standal was born November 9, 1926, the only child of Osborne and Nora (Rosvold) Standal, at Benson, Minnesota. She was baptized on December 29, 1926, by Rev. J.S. Strand and confirmed by Rev. Melvin Kaatrud at Immanuel Church. She was graduated from Benson High School in 1944 and from St. Cloud Teachers College in 1946. She then taught school at Clarkfield Public School. On January 3, 1947, she was united in marriage to Edward C. Hanson and has since resided on the farm southwest of Clarkfield. She passed away October 9, 1963, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 36 years. Marianne is survived by her husband, Edward, and one son, James; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Osborne Standal; and other relatives. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
