Margrethe Marie Heimark was born December 21, 1891, to pioneer parents, John K. Johnson and Kari (Hanson) Johnson, on their homestead in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. She attended Clarkfield High School and it was at her last school in Lisbon Township where she met and later married Henry H. Heimark, December 12, 1917. One son, Donald, was born to this union. Mrs. Heimark passed away July 28, 1960, at her Lisbon Township home, at 68 years of age. She was a long time member of the Bergen Ladies Aid and the Lisbon Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry (July 12, 1960); her parents; four brothers, two who died in infancy, and Henry and Clarence; two sisters, one who died in infancy and Bessie (Mrs. Chester Clausen) of Seattle, Washington. Besides her son, Donald, she is survived by one sister, Laura Johnson, of Seattle, Washington, and several nieces and nephews. IN MEMORY OF MARGRETHE M.
