Margaret Anne (Ritter) Ellingson, 61, of Menahga, Minnesota, died Thursday, February 14, 2008, at her home in Menahga. Margaret was born to Lawrence B. Ritter, Sr. and Mary Angela (McDonough) Ritter on May 5, 1946, in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she was raised. She attended school at Nativity and St. Joseph's Academy. After completing her schooling, Margaret was employed in the food service industry in St. Paul, Oahu, Hawaii, Hanley Falls and Menahga and was employed by the federal government. She was a member of various civic organizations. She was a member of Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls. Margaret is survived by her husband, Gary Ellingson of Menahga; daughter, Wanda Blechinger (Al) of St. Paul; son, Wayne Vance of Hanley Falls; grandson, Corey Vance of St. Paul; stepson, Eric Ellingson of St. Paul; sisters: Mary Jo and Cathy; four brothers: Larry, Jim, John and Pat; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Mary Angela Ritter.
