Mae Larson was born in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to the parents Edwin and Clara (Johnson) Willander on May 18, 1920. She departed this life February 10, 1972, at the age of 51 years after years of a lingering illness. She passed away at the Clarkfield Care Center. She remained in this community all her life until she was united in marriage to Glen Larson of Granite Falls, Minnesota, on April 12, 1953. She was a quiet and sincere christian, always willing to do her task cheerfully. She will be remembered by her love and affection to others. Before she became ill, she attended the Assembly of God Church faithfully. Mae leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Glen; her brothers and sisters: Mrs. Cecelia Loose of Montevideo, Minnesota, Mrs. Vira Nodshilder of Everett, Washington, Orin, Jesse and Ruth Willander of Clarkfield, Edith and Donald Willander of Minneapolis, Bernice Johnson of Wenatchee, Washington, Junette Yeider of Seseda, California, Delphine Johnson of Eugene, Oregon, and Elsmore Willander of Aberdeen, South Dakota; and a host of other relatives and friends.
