Mabel Deline Heimark was born March 23, 1902, to Ole M. and Bertha Sande Monson. She was baptized and confirmed at Bergen Lutheran Church, attended Stony Run Township School and Sewing School in Montevideo, Minnesota. September 5, 1922, she was united in marriage to Clarence J. Heimark of Clarkfield, Minnesota. They homesteaded in Lisbon Township. She was a life long member of Bergen Lutheran Church, past president of the Ladies Aid and Sunday School teacher for many years. In 1961 they moved to Granite Falls. Clarence J. passed away September 2, 1982. She has been a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center for the past seven years. Mabel passed away Monday, September 14, 1992, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 90 years. Surviving Mabel are five children: Charles and his wife, Dorothea of Clarkfield; Mae O'Brien and her husband Paul of Absecon, New Jersey; Eleanor Johnson and her husband Adrian of Faribault; Robert and his wife Geri of Clarkfield; and Clark and his wife Marlyce of Montevideo; along with a host of grandchildren and great grand children.
