Mrs. Fred O. Larson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, passed away at the Sioux Falls Hospital, Monday evening, November 29, 1965, after several months of illness, at the age of 72 years. Mrs. Larson, the former Mabel Jorgenson, is a sister of Marvin Jorgenson of Clarkfield, Minnesota. Mabel, the daughter of Bernt and Ida (Severts) Jorgenson, was born October 5, 1893, at Clarkfield on the farm now occupied by the Glenn Jorgensons. On August 25, 1915, she was united in marriage to Fred O. Larson. She spent most of her life, with the exception of a few years spent at Lake Wilson, Minnesota, in Clarkfield, Minnesota, until she and her husband moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1941. She is survived by her husband, Fred; one son, Fred O. Larson, Jr., of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and one daughter, Mrs. Verlin Bose of Pipestone, Minnesota. Also surviving are a grandson, a granddaughter and one great grandson, beside her brother, Marvin Jorgenson, and a number of nieces and nephews. Her parents and three brothers, Gifford, Johnny and Severt, preceded her in death.
