Mabel Elmira Isaacs was born in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on February 11, 1885, to the parents Andrew and Severine (Barnson) Isaacs. She was baptized by Rev. Halvorson and confirmed by Rev. Peterson in the Bethlehem Church. In 1906, she was united in marriage to Tony Clemetson. To this union two children were born, namely, Clayton of Hazel Run and Alta (Mrs. Andrew Anderson) of Cottonwood, Minnesota. She lived on a farm near Hazel Run until the death of her husband, when she moved to Granite Falls. Later, she moved to Cottonwood where she resided until the time of her death. She had been in failing health for some time and passed away at the Granite Falls Hospital on Saturday evening, November 19, 1960, at the age of 75 years. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and five sisters. She leaves to mourn her departure, her children, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. IN MEMORY OF MRS. MABLE E.
