Lucille Grace (Johnson) Moen, 70, of Boyd, Minnesota, died Monday, January 20, 1986, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 1986, at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd with Pastor Jeff Swanson officiating. Organist is Minnie Hermanson with solo music by Mrs. Arvid Rikke. Casket Bearers were Richard Johnson, Bradley Johnson, Michael Johnson, Stanley Johnson, Lonny Moen and Douglas Moen. Final Resting Place is the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery of Boyd, Minnesota. She was born September 20, 1915, to Frank and Amelia (Habeck) Johnson in Jackson County, Minnesota. She was baptized on June 17, 1928, in Clarkfield and attended schools in the Boyd Community. On March 8, 1939, she married Orville Moen in Watertown, South Dakota. She has been a homemaker, active with the Trinity Lutheran Church Women in Boyd and helped her husband Orville with the farming until their retirement. She is survived by husband Orville of Boyd; sons Larry of Bloomington, Minnesota, and Richard of Anoka, Minnesota; four grandchildren and brothers Donald Johnson of Madison, Minnesota, Frank Johnson of Boyd and Jerome Johnson of Watertown, Minnesota.
