Louise Mathilda Lachelt Werth, daughter of William F. and Augusta (Loose) Lachelt, was born on May 16, 1906, in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was baptized June 3, 1906, by Pastor August Hillger at Zion Lutheran Church. On March 28, 1920, she was confirmed by Pastor Bernhard Luttman at Zion Lutheran Church. She attended rural school. She was united in marriage to Richard Gottschalk. This union was blessed with one daughter, Delphia. Richard passed away in 1939. On March 29, 1942, Louise was united in marriage to Theodore Werth. They farmed near Boyd, Minnesota, until 1958, when they moved to Clarkfield. After a lengthy illness Louise passed away at Rice Memorial Hospital at Willmar, Minnesota, on December 23, 1978, at the age of 72 years. Besides her husband, Theodore, she is survived by a daughter, Delphia, and son-in-law, George Marquardt, of Buffalo, Minnesota; four grandsons: Douglas, Richard, Brian and Kevin; two great grandchildren; two sisters: Olga Bartz of Appleton, Minnesota, and Clara Werner of Boyd, Minnesota; and three brothers: John and Otto of Clarkfield and Leo of Montevideo, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard; her parents; one sister and four brothers. IN MEMORY OF MRS. THEODORE O.
