Mass of Christian Burial for Louis A. Kronabetter, 47, who died April 18, 1983, at Sibley, Iowa, the result of a truck, train crash, was held April 21, 1983, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in St. Leo, Minnesota, with Father John Gleason celebrant of the mass. Vocal music was by the St. Leo Catholic Church Choir. The Casket Bearers were six of his nephews: Gerald Sussner, Dennis Sussner, Terry Kronabetter Breyfogle, Mark Wollum and John Antony. Burial was in the St. Leo Cemetery, St. Leo, Minnesota. Rites were conducted by The St. Leo American Legion and the V.F.W, Post of Dawson, Minnesota. Louis A. Kronabetter was born on February 29, 1936, at Burton Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Joseph A. and Barbara (Ackartz) Kronabetter. He lived in St. Leo all his life and farmed until 1982. In April of 1982 he started driving truck for Cliff Viessman, Inc., Dawson, Minnesota, which he did until the time of his death. He was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church, the St. Leo Men's society, the St. Leo Town Council, the St. Leo Fire Department, C.A.A. and the V.F.W. Strand-Saboe Post 5247 of Dawson, Minnesota. On August 11, 1962, he was married to Marilyn Galow at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cottonwood, Minnesota. He is survived by his Wife Marilyn; Children, Scott of Marshall, Minnesota, Michelle of St. Peter, Minnesota, and Joe at home; his Mother Barbara of St. Leo; brother, Joseph J. of Clarkfield, Minnesota; sisters, Mrs. Richard (Ann) Imholt of Hinsdale, Illinois, Mrs. Robert (Agnes) Marguardt of St. Paul, Minnesota, Irene Antony of Canby, Minnesota, Mrs. John (Barbara) Sussner of St. Paul, Minnesota, Mrs. Darrell (Martha) Breyfogle, of Taunton, Minnesota, Mrs. Harvey (Maggie) Wollum of Porter, Minnesota; many niecies and nephews.
