Lloyd Hilman Larson, son of Carl and Emma (Knutson) Larson was born February 17, 1911, at Clarkfield, Minnesota. On March 26, 1911, he was presented for baptism at the Spring Creek Lutheran Church. On May 30, 1926, he confirmed his baptismal vows at Israel Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage with Charlotte Soppeland on January 26, 1935, at Dawson, Minnesota. He spent his lifetime in the occupation of farming. Recently he entered the hospital in Marshall, Minnesota, for a heart condition and it was there on Sunday morning, February 22, 1970, that he passed away at the age of 59 years. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving to mourn his passing are his mother, Mrs. Emma Larson; his wife, Charlotte; four sons: Lowell and wife, Ardell and wife, Minneapolis, Derald and wife of St. Paul, Minnesota, and Terry, 15 years still at home; 11 brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren; together with other relatives and friends.
