Lisa Odella Nodshilder was born on July 1, 1904, to parents Hans and Herborg (Swenson) Nodshilder in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Bergen Lutheran Church. She attended rural school. Mont L. Anderson and Odella were married on March 9, 1929, at Atwater, Minnesota. Odella especially liked flowers and to garden. She entered the Clarkfield Care Center on July 27, 1987. It was there she passed away Tuesday, February 23, 1993 at the age 88. Odella is survived by sons, Monte and his wife Marie of rural Granite Falls, and Robert of Anchorage, Alaska, brother, John Nodshilder, rural Clarkfield, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mont in June of 1961, infant son Mont, three sisters, Susie Ostenso, Thea Berg, and Hannah Nodshilder, four brothers, Helmer, Selmer, Ingval, and Samson.
