Linda Louise Rehder was born on October 16, 1945, to parents Leonard and Mary (Layton) Rehder in Sikeston, Missouri. She was baptized on October 26, 1945, in Sikeston and later confirmed in Sutherland, Iowa. Linda attended and graduated from Sutherland High School. Linda married Kent Johannsen on February 8, 1964, in Sutherland, Iowa. This union was blessed with one son and eight daughters. In 1988, Linda graduated from Central Community College in Columbus, Nebraska, with a degree as a Registered Nurse. For the past six years, she, Kent and their family have made their home in Clarkfield, Minnesota. Linda passed away on Thursday, January 1, 1998, at the Weiner Memorial Medical Center in Marshall, Minnesota, at the age of 52 years, 2 months, and 17 days. She is survived by her husband, Kent, and daughters: Karen (and Pat) Fullenkamp of Omaha, Nebrasla, Andrea Johannsen of Omaha, Nebraska, Stephanie (and Shane) Kuhnel of Anchorage, Alaska, Lisa (and German) Basso of Omaha, Nebraska, Melinda (and Verlin) Hedman of Marshall, Minnesota, and Sarah, Jennifer, and Amber Johannsen of Clarkfield, Minnesota. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Rehder; three grandsons; three sisters; and nieces. Linda was preceded in death by her father and her son, Chad Johannsen.
