Lillie Peterson, 88, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died Wednesday, November 28, 1984, at the Clarkfield Community Care Center. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 1984, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd, Minnesota, with Pastor Scott C. Jorgenson officiating. Vernon Stevens was organist and soloist. Final Resting Place is the Garfield Lutheran Cemetery, Garfield Township, Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota. Casket Bearers were Dennis Johnson, Raymond Larson, Roy Larson, Walter Larson, Alan Solting and John Solting. She was born May 23, 1896, in Providence Township in Lac qui Parle County, to John and Hanna Peterson. She attended rural school near Madison and was confirmed at the Garfield Lutheran Church. She worked at the Madison Normal School and lived with her sister and brother-in-law John and Mary Solting since 1937. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd, the A.L.C.W. and the Boyd Senior Citizens. She is survived by brother-in-law John Solting of Boyd plus neices and nepthews.
