Lillie Anderson was born April 23, 1903 in Vallers township, Lyon County, Minnesota to Andrew O. and Mathia (Enkenhus) Anderson. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Lucas Lutheran Church and was a life long member there. She attended rural school District 56 through eighth grade. She dedicated her life to caring for her father, mother (who was in a wheel chair for 25 years), uncle Tobias Enkenhus (who was in a wheel chair for 10 years) and brother Fred. She enjoyed reading, family history, photographs, and scrapbooks. In 1976 she went to Norway where she visited several aunts and cousins. She entered the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital on July 14, 1994, and died there on July 20, 1994, at the age of 91 years, 2 months, and 27 days. She is survived by her brother, Fred Anderson, four nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, two half sisters, Moly Reimestad and Allie Miller, and one half brother, Albert Hovdesven. Blessed be her memory.
