Lillian Ruth Schulz was born on July 28, 1923, in Minnesota to parents August and Amelia (Kurpjuweit) Germolus. She was baptized on July 28, 1923, and later confirmed, both at Borup, Minnesota. Lillian graduated from Borup High School. On September 18, 1960, Lillian married Clarence Schulz in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1973 they returned to the Boyd area. Lillian managed the restaurant in Boyd for several years. In 1986, they retired and moved to Granite Falls. Lillian enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed going to garage sales. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Granite Falls and was active with the Women's Fellowship. Lillian passed away at her home in Granite Falls, Minnesota at the age of 70 years. Lillian is survived by daughters: Phyllis (Bruce) Wuollet of Maple Grove, Minnesota and Leslie (Mike) Bauman of Watson, Minnesota. Also grandchildren: Brent and Stacy Wuollet and Rein and Larissa Christensen; Sister Edna Gabriel, brother Albert (wife Grace) Germolus, sister Clara Schmidt, sister Emma Krueger, brother Paul (wife Juanita) Germolus, brother Willie (wife Goldie) Germolus, and sister-in-law Gustie Gerolus. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Amelia, brothers Emil and Gustav, and husband Clarence in 1993. Blessed be her memory.
