Lilian Julette (Johnson) Larson (October 23, 1913 ~ March 7, 2010) Lilian Larson was born October 23, 1913, at Boyd, Minnesota, to Lars and Lena (Nelson) Johnson. She was baptized at Boyd Lutheran Church and confirmed in Norwegian at Bergen Lutheran Church. She graduated from Montevideo High School. Lilian married Harvey Larson on June 9, 1933, in Rake, Iowa. They were the parents of five children. They moved to Clarkfield, Minnesota, in 1950. She loved spending time with family and enjoyed doing a variety of handwork, gardening, canning and music. She was active in her church and was a long time member of Lisbon Garden Club. In early retirement years she enjoyed traveling and time at the lake. Lilian passed away at Westwood Elder Care in Granite Falls, Minnesota, on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the age of 96 years, 4 months and 12 days. She is survived by her children: Rachel Froland of Montevideo, Minnesota, Merlin (Carol) Larson of Bloomington, Minnesota, Harold (Barb) Larson of Clarkfield, Kathleen Hanson of Bloomington, Minnesota, and Roseann (Bill) Kolb of Annandale, Minnesota. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren; sister Evelyn Estebo and brother Gerhard (Virginia) Johnson.
