Lewis Rysdahl, 93, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, died at the Clarkfield Care Center April 4, 1988. Funeral services were held Friday, April 8, 1988, 11:00 a.m., at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church, Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Pastor Gordon Trelstad officiating. Organist was Karen Donner and soloist was Loren Norgaard. Casket Bearers were Christopher Grudt, Diane Halgerson, Dennis Rysdahl, Lynette Rysdahl, Paul Rysdahl and Scott Rysdahl. Final Resting Place is in the Clarkfield Lutheran Cemetery, Clarkfield, Minnesota. Lewis was born November 14, 1894, at Friendship Township to Anders and Marie Eide Rysdahl. He had one brother Carl and three sisters Mathilda, Louise Hagren and Mable Wallen. On March 7, 1928, he was married to Judith Berg. The couple had eight children. Lewis served on the Friendship Township Board for 21 years. He was a faithful member of Clarkfield Lutheran Church all his life serving as Deacon and Trustee for many years. Lewis was cared for at the Clarkfield Care Center for the last three years of his life. Lewis is survived by his wife, Judith; his children Alton and wife Dolores, Donald and wife Elna, George and wife Marjorie, Loretta and husband Richard Grudt, Janice and husband Lowell Sheldahl, and Dorothy and husband Vaughn Marian; 25 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and his sister Louise.
