Letha (Risk) Wilson was born January 8, 1913 in Stratford, Iowa, daughter of Oliver and Orma Risk. She lived most of her life in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. She attended Hanley Falls school. In 1933 she married Earl L. Wilson. They lived on farms in the Hazel Run area. To this union two children, Ethel (Wilson) Lynne of Clarkfield and Galen Wilson of Duluth, were born. Letha was a member of the Hazel Run Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid and the American Legion Auxiliary. Letha Wilson died July 24, 1994 at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital at the age of 81. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, a sister, Viola and a brother, Orly. Letha is survived by her children, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Dorothy Dahl, of California and Eldora Smith, of Colorado.
