LeRoy A. Moseng was born April 11th, 1940, in Dawson, MN, to parents Alfred and Lorraine (Ritland) Moseng. He attended Boyd Public School and graduated in 1958. Following graduation, he worked at several jobs before starting farming at age 22.

LeRoy married Wilma "Wendy" Manning on September 4, 1965. They raised cattle and farmed their entire married lives. LeRoy and Wendy retired from farming in 1971, at which time they purchased the Sales Barn in Montevideo and became cattle buyers. Wendy passed away August 13th, 2013, at age 71.

LeRoy was a faithful member of the Shriners and Masons for 52 years, and he served as the President of the Society for many years. LeRoy loved fishing and hunting, but really enjoyed watching the wildlife more than shooting them. He also enjoyed country music and would spend many hours listening to and watching it on TV.

LeRoy is survived by relatives, Shannon Preckel, Gene and Bernice Moseng, Wesley and Judy Manning, Shirley Manning, nieces, nephews, many good and loving friends, and Tim, Shar, Jenna and Jack.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lorraine; wife, Wendy, Tom and Barbara Agre, Daniel Manning, Perry Manning, Betty and Bob Johnson.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024, at 10 AM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Baxter, followed by the memorial service at 11 AM. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Baxter.
