LeRoy Christiansen was born July 8, 1920, in Albert City, Iowa, the son of Albert and Amanda (Landwher) Christiansen and died Friday, July 24, 1981, at the age of 61, at the Granite Falls Manor, Granite Falls, Minnesota, after a long illness. He grew up and attended school in Albert City, Iowa. He farmed in Iowa, then moved to rural Hazel Run, Minnesota, where he lived for 24 years. On September 10, 1942, he married Lorena Fry. Four children were born. He is survived by his wife, Lorena; daughter, Irene, Mrs. Steven Black; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mona, Mrs. Donovan Harold and Mrs. Margaret Anderson. He is preceded in death by his parents and three sons: Edward, Dale and Gary. IN MEMORY OF LEROY D.
