No one ever had to be told Our mother'd been given a heart of gold. Our Gramma' always loved to bake One of her favorite things was cake. As a sister you could call your own Talked heart to heart upon the phone. She enjoyed having company come and stay Filled with coffee, they'd be on their way. Whoever and whenever anyone would come She'd greet 'n make sure you'd had some fun. Come North or South, from East and West, She touched our lives and we were blest. But the sun has set.
