Larry Michael Jurgenson was born on September 23, 1946, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, to parents Arden and Gladys (Westre) Jurgenson. He was baptized as an infant and confirmed at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. Larry lived in Clarkfield until six years ago, when he moved to Montevideo, Minnesota. He was a lifelong member of the Clarkfield Lutheran ELCA Church and an associate member of Salem Lutheran ELCA Church of Montevideo. Larry was a client of Day Activity Center of Montevideo. He loved to bowl, play Carroms, do art work, and especially spend time with his family and friends. He passed away on Monday, October 15, 2001, at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital, Montevideo, Minnesota, at the age of 55 years and 22 days. He is survived by his mother Gladys; brothers and sisters: Roland (and Darlene) Jurgenson of Clarkfield, Jeanne (and LaVerne) Johnson of Kenyon, Minnesota, Arden (and Janice) Jurgenson of Plainview, Minnesota, Richard (and Elizabeth) Jurgenson of Clarkfield, Howard (and Phyllis) Jurgenson of Clarkfield, and Caron (and John) Aeikens of Sacred Heart, Minnesota; aunt Elise Husby of Clarkfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by many cherished friends and associates. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Arden in 1982.
