Kyle Nels Eisenlohr was born September 4, 1967, at Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital of Montevideo, Minnesota, the son of Herbert and Janet Eisenlohr. He was baptized on October 15, 1967, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Montevideo. He was confirmed on May 1, 1983, at Clarkfield Lutheran Church of Clarkfield, Minnesota. Kyle graduated from Clarkfield High School in May of 1986. In the Fall of 1989 he was attending the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. His course of study was Aviation and he had successfully obtained his pilots license. Kyle was active in high school sports and enjoyed playing football. His outside interests were hunting, fishing, waterskiing and snowmobiling. Kyle passed away as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Friday, December 22, 1989, at the age of 22. Kyle is survived by his parents, Herbert and Janet (Strand) Eisenlohr; one brother, Bradley Eisenlohr; two sisters, Renay Mettling and Judy Eisenlohr; one nephew, Jeremy Mettling; and one niece Jaime Mettling. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Erna Eisenlohr and Christian and Hilda Strand.
