Obituary

Kurt Edward Wendschuh was born August 5, 1914, in rural Lyon County, Minnesota, to Otto and Emma (Schultz) Wendschuh. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He attended school in Lyon County. On September 15, 1946, he was married to Vivian Reishus at St. Lucas Lutheran Church. They farmed east of Marshall, Minnesota for two years before moving to Cottonwood, Minnesota where he has farmed until is death. Kurt passed away on November 4, 1982, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota at the age of 68. Kurt is survived by his wife, Vivian; two daughters, Gayle (Mrs. David) Regnier and Darla (Mrs. Ron) Cady of Gillette, Wyoming; one son, Dean of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two grandsons, Scott and Brian Regnier; one brother, Walter of Marshall, Minnesota; three sisters, Elizabeth of Marshall, Ella (Mrs. Floyd) Okrina of Minneota, Minnesota, and Pearl of California; plus nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. IN MEMORY OF KURT E.
