Knute Hiram Dyrdahl passed away very suddenly at Mercy Hospital in Anoka, Minnesota, on July 29, 1972, from a cerrebral hemorrhage at the age of 62 years. He was baptized and confirmed in the Hazel Run Lutheran Church. He was born on May 6, 1910, the son of Halvor and Mollia (Gautefall) Dyrdahl, spending his early years in Hazel Run. For the past fourteen years, he has worked in Minneapolis at State Electric Company On November 13, 1954, he was united in marriage to Alvina Negaard and they have made their home in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, Alvina, and a step-daughter, Avis (Mrs. J. Paul DeWoody) of Orland, California; three sisters: Arda (Mrs. Paul Barnett) of Excelsior, Minnesota, Edith (Mrs. Paul Arneson) of Clearwater, Florida, Ruby (Mrs. Russell Halverson) of Granite Falls, Minnesota; two brothers: Albie and Luverne, both of Hazel Run; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
