Obituary

Kermit Telford Hoiland was born April 20, 1918, in Normania Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, the only son of Selmer and Ella (Berre) Hoiland. He attended school at Riverside district 24, and at Cottonwood High School. In June 1942, he entered the United States Armed Forces and served his country for 33 months in the South Pacific with the 33rd Troop Carrier Command. For the past 20 years he has been farming in Normania Township. Mr. Hoiland passed away August 27, 1967, at his home in Normania Township, at the age of 49 years. Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Ella Hoiland; two sisters: Mrs. Leonard Buysse of Cottonwood, Minnesota, and Mrs. Arnold Johnson of Cook, Minnesota; three nieces and two nephews.
