Kent Alan Fritz was born January 14, 1978, at Marshall, Minnesota, to parents Gary and Susan (Bailey) Fritz. He was baptized on May 23, 1978, at St. James Episcopal Church and Confirmed on December 24, 1985, also at St. James Episcopal Church. Kent attended H. A. Hagg Elementary School and Yellow Medicine East High School. He graduated with the YME Class of 1996. Kent was a student at Mankato State University at the time of his death. Kent enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, golfing, and being with his family and friends. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mankato on Thursday, March 19th, 1998, at the age of 20 years, two months, and five days. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Sue Fritz of Clarkfield; brother, Keith (and Laura) Fritz of Northwood, Iowa; and brother Kevin (and friend Kim Busch) of Mankato, Minnesota. He is also survived by grandmothers: Betty Bailey of Montana and Elsie Fritz of Pipestone, Minnesota; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins and many friends. Kent was preceded in death by a sister, Karie Elizabeth, two grandfathers, and one aunt. Blessed be his memory.
