Karen Josephine Thompson was born November 1, 1871, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Ole and Uni (Kleppe) Uveness. She passed away January 19, 1957, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 85 years. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Julius Ling; second husband, T.A. Thompson. Survivors include her daughters, Ruth Hassel, Jeannette Densmore and Olga Flaa.
