June R. (Trovatten) Dahlager June 22, 1922 ~ August 23, 2013 June Rosciel (Trovatten) Dahlager was born June 22, 1922, in Clarkfield, Minnesota to Rollef and Susie (Christensen) Trovatten. She graduated from Murray High School in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1940, and from the college of Education at the University of Minnesota in 1944. While teaching in New Richland, Minnesota, June met Lorrin Orlando Dahlager. They were married on June 30, 1947, in St. Paul and had one son, James, born December 1, 1948. After teaching in several Minnesota communities, Lorrin and June moved to Clarkfield. June had an uncanny knack for uncovering some connection to nearly every person she met, whether through distant family relations or common neighbors in a small Minnesota town. Her friends were multitude. She loved visiting relatives and friends, traveling and keeping up with her grandson. June R. Dahlager, 91, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013, at the Clarkfield Care Center. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pam, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; grandson, Jon Christian, of Minneapolis; and her sister, Donna Teeter, of St. Paul. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lorrin; son James; and sister, Shirley Olson. Memorials preferred to Spring Creek Cemetery Association or Augustana Lutheran Church in Clarkfield, Minnesota, or to the Goldstein Museum of Design on the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.
