Julius Uveness, son of Ole and Unni (Kleppe) Uveness, was born September 28, 1884, in Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Petri Lutheran Church of Camp Release Township. Mr. Uveness passed away at the Dawson Nursing Home on February 18, 1976, at the age of 91 years. Surviving him are three nieces: Ruth (Mrs. Henrick Hassel) of Boyd, Orpha and Verna Uveness of Madison; one nephew, Milford Flaa of Boyd; two half-nieces: Annie (Mrs. Elmer Eliason) and Ada Jallo of Appleton; and two half-nephews: Carl Jallo of Alberta, Minnesota, and Rudolph Jallo of the Dawson Nursing Home. Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters; two brothers; one half-sister; and one half- nephew. IN MEMORY OF JULIUS O.
