Julian Theodor Foss, 78, of Hazel Run, Minnesota, died Friday, October 17, 1986, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 1986, at the Community Bible Church of Montevideo, Minnesota, with Pastor Raymond Wuerch officiating. The organist was Joann Hildahl and duets were sung by Pastor and Mrs. Wuerch and Pastor Jim Reville plus David Rupp. Casket Bearers were Jerome Kvistad, Steve Stenson, Ronald Risa, Howard and Kenneth Jorgenson and David Lee. Final Resting Place is the Hazel Run Lutheran Cemetery, Hazel Run, Minnesota. He was born February 1, 1908, in Friendship Township near Hazel Run to John and Thora (Falkum) Foss. He spent all his life on the home farm. On March 9, 1957, he married Christine Nydahl. He is survived by wife Christine of rural Clarkfield, Minnesota; sisters Alvilda (Mrs. George) Wester, Lillian Foss, Mabel (Mrs. Clyde) Fuller, Ruth (Mrs. LeVern) Stevens of Spokane, Washington, Helma (Mrs. Lewis) Eye of Clarkfield and Thelma (Mrs. John) Kvistad of Granite Falls; brothers Hjalmer and George Foss both of Spokane, Washington, Elmer Foss of Fairbanks, Alaska and Norman Foss of Granite Falls; nieces and nephews.
