Julia Thostenson was born January 5, 1880, in York, Fillmore County, Minnesota, to Knud Olsen Wilson & Sigre (Johnson) Wilson. Mrs. Thostenson, a member of the Hanley Falls community all her married life, passed away at the Montevideo nursing home Saturday, December 26, 1959. She would have been 80 years old January 5, 1960. Mrs. Thostenson is survived by her three children: Mrs. Wallace Larson of Clarkfield, Minnesota, Mrs. Lyman Ellingson of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, and one son, Marvin, a music teacher at Iowa City, Iowa.
