Judith Knutson Braley was born near Hanley Falls, Minnesota, on February 10, 1917, the daughter of Nels Ree and Guri (Erickson) Ree. She was baptized in the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church by Rev. Ole Lokensgaard and some years later confirmed by the same pastor in the same church. The greater part of the past 11 years she lived in Portland, Oregon, where she passed away suddenly Monday May 19, 1958. By her first marriage she is survived by one daughter, Sharon Knutson of Hanley Falls, Minnesota. She is also survived by her father, Nels Ree of Hanley Falls; two sisters, Blenda (Mrs. Ray Miller) of Cottonwood, Minnesota, and Gladys (Mrs. Ellis Hermona) of Minneapolis; six brothers, namely, Arthur and Waldo Ree of Montevideo, Minnesota, Kermit of Portland, Oregon, Ervin and Homer of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, and Newell Ree of Marshall, Minnesota. She also leaves a number of uncles and aunts and nieces and nephews. Her mother and one sister preceded her in death. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
