Funeral services for John F. Volkmann of Cottonwood, Minnesota, were held Wednesday afternoon, June 21, 1972, at the Lynner Funeral Chapel. A World War I Veteran, the 77 year old man passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on June 17, 1972. John was born June 1, 1895, at Wood Lake, Minnesota, to Gustof and Elizabeth (Ruehl) Volkmann. The single man is survived by one brother, August of Canby, Minnesota, and one sister, Freda (Mrs. John Clark) of St. Paul, Minnesota. In Memory of JOHN F.
