Johanna Loe Cole was born July 20, 1890, at Cottonwood, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Jerdine (Ekiland) Loe. She was baptized August 31, 1890, at the Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church by Rev. Thorstenson and confirmed in July, 1905, at the Silo Lutheran Church at Cottonwood by Rev. Romstad. On October 20, 1910, she was united in marriage to Albert L. Cole by Rev. Haugen of the Cottonwood Silo Church. Nine children were born to this union. She passed peacefully away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Donald U. Nelson, on October 15, 1964, at the age of 74 years, the same age her husband Albert was when he preceded her in death in 1959. IN MEMORY OF MRS. ALBERT L.
