(Moe) [Grinager] Dotseth
May 8, 1932 – February 10, 1951
Joanne Mae Moe was born May 8, 1932 in Montevideo, MN to parents Arnold and Alice (Lanes) Moe. She grew up in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1950. Joanne married LuVerne Grinager on February 10, 1951. To this union were born five children: Jill, Ann, Sue, Lee, and Gay. LuVerne and Joanne owned and operated a Service Station, Motel, and Grinager's Store in Clarkfield. Joanne also worked as a Medication Aide at the Clarkfield Care Center, until her retirement. LuVerne passed away in 1987. She married Erling Dotseth of Clarkfield on October 29,1988. Joanne was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church of Clarkfield. Joanne passed away on Friday, October 10, 1997 at Fairview District Memorial Hospital in Forest Lake, MN following a heart attack, at the age of 65 years, 5 months, and 3 days. She is survived by her husband, Erling; son Lee (and Kris) Grinager of New London, MN; daughters Jill (and Ron) Doty of Clarkfield; Ann (and Mark) Koenig of Buffalo Lake; Sue (and Larry) Jans of Clarkfield; and Gay Walstad of Montevideo. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and stepchildren: Sheryl (and Ed) Andler of Wyoming, MN; David (and Deb) Dotseth of Atwater; Ronald (and Lynnette) Dotseth of West Fargo, ND; Lorie (and Gary) Kidrowski of Raymond, MN; Pam (and Jeff) Zurn of St. Louis Park, MN; and Lisa (and Bill) Teetzel of Hector, MN and nine step grandchildren and brother Arnold L. (and Pat) Moe of Bloomington, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, LuVerne, parents, and an infant sister Avis Mae. Blessed be her memory.
