Jessie Irene Ness was born June 16, 1894, in Minnesota, the daughter of Alfin and Julia (Ottoson) Nelson. She was united in marriage to Bennie Ness. Mrs. Ness passed away November 28, 1963, at the University of Minnesota Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 69 years. Survivors include two sons: Don and Gene; one daughter, Mrs. Phillip Smogaard; eight grandchildren; five brothers and sisters: Ervin Nelson, Mrs. Trudy Dahl, C. Howard Nelson, Cora (Mrs. Art Hein) and Alpha (Mrs. Oscar Eckhardt). She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, Cora Nelson. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
