Jessie Fultz was born April 25, 1903, to Peter and Josephine Fraser at Kenora, Canada. At the age of one year, she moved to the United States and settled in North Dakota. In 1946 she moved to the Montevideo and Clarkfield area. In 1922 Jessie was united in marriage to Frank Fultz. To this union nine children were born. Jessie enjoyed reading, playing scrabble, and traveling with her family when she was able. She was active in her church until her health limited her activities. She was a resident of Valhalla Apartments until the summer of 1992. She enjoyed visiting with her many friends there. Jessie passed away on Monday, April 26, 1993, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 90 years and 1 day. Jessie is survived by her children: Mrs. Willistine (John) Bunch of Kelso, Washington, Gerald and (Darlene) Fultz of Montevideo, Minnesota, Mrs. Fern (Wilbur) Hell of International Falls, Minnesota, Mrs. Shirley (Orville) Saue of Clarkfield, Minnesota, Francis and (Von) Fultz of Durham, California, Mrs. Geraldine Alvis of Loganville, Georgia, Gary and (Helen) Fultz of Corning, California, Mrs. Josephine (James) Spilde of Battle Lake, Minnesota, and Mac and (Lynette) Fultz of Granite Falls, Minnesota. She is also survived by 45 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Josephine Fraser; and four grandchildren: Sherrie West, John Hell, Lee Hell and David Fultz; and son-in-law, Dale McCoy.
