Jerry Lynn Moen, 52, of Hazel Run, Minnesota, died November 18, 1999, at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson, Minnesota. His funeral was held Sunday, November 20, 1999, at Hazel Run Lutheran Church, Hazel Run, Minnesota, with Pastor Larry Thompson officiating. Organist was Arlyss Jacobson and soloist, Karen Mills. Casket Bearers were Howard Flickinger, Albert Kruckman Jr., Bill Kruckman, Joe Hocum, Lonnie Moen and Ken Nelson III. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Granite Falls, Minnesota. Jerry Lynn Moen was born March 27, 1947, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Raymond and Bette (Mills) Moen. He was baptized and confirmed while his family lived in Albert Lea. Jerry married Diana Nelson on January 28, 1978. Jerry worked in the scrap iron business. Jerry is survived by his wife Diana, children: Jeremy, Dawn and Amber Moen and son, Scott and his wife Amy Bouma; sisters Jean (Dan) Hocum of Canby, Minnesota; Donna (Ray) Haneca of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Vicki (Roger) Lavoie of Montevideo, Minnesota; brothers: John (Claire) Moen of Tenstrike, Minnesota, Bill (Becky) Moen, Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, Gary Moen of Boyd, Minnesota, Tom (Mary) Moen of Lac qui Parle Village, Minnesota, Mike (Barb) Moen of Montevideo, Minnesota, Robert (Monica) Moen of Watson, Minnesota, and Mark Moen of Watson, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
