Jergon Maursetter was born at St. Cloud, Minnesota, on February 1, 1899, the son of Rasmus J. and Sena (Harvey) Maursetter. He was baptized in St. Cloud and confirmed in Clarkfield Lutheran Church by Rev. Storaasli. He attended elementary and high school in Clarkfield and then the Mankato Commercial College. On May 24, 1924, he was united in marriage to Myrtle Moen. Most of his adult life was spent in farming in the Clarkfield area, except for ten years prior to his illness. He and Myrtle then made their home in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he was employed for the city of Indianapolis. Jergon passed away at the Clarkfield Care Center, Sunday morning, April 30, 1972. He had been in poor health for the past year. He was preced in death by his wife, Myrtle; an infant daughter, Emilie; his parents and a brother, Berkie. He is survived by his three children: Ronald of Pompano Beach, Florida, Truman of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Carolyn (Mrs. George Buseman, Sr.) of Vallejo, California; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers: Gifford of Clarkfield and Richard of Montevideo; and one sister, Rudella (Mrs. Orville C. Jacobson) of Grove City, Minnesota; and numerous nieces and nephews. In Memory Of JERGON M.
