Jens Hanson was born April 23, 1882, in Minnesota, the son of Sven and Randi (Fremo) Hanson. Mr. Hanson passed away March 29, 1952, at his farm home, the result of an accident, when he was crushed under a pile of baled hay that suddenly collapsed. He was 69 years, 11 months and 6 days of age. He is survived by his sister, Ragna Hanson and brother, Ludwig Hanson. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 2, 1952, 2:00 p.m., at Saint Petri Lutheran Church, Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota, Rev. Martin Lien officiating.
