Jennie Anderson was born in Nicollet County, Minnesota, on January 15, 1977, the daughter of Nels and Kjersti (Eskels) Willander. She was baptized in Bernadotte, Minnesota, and confirmed at the Fridhem Lutheran Church in Tyro Township in 1892 by Rev. B.F. Bengtson where she was a member until the congregation joined the Augustana Church in Clarkfield. On April 25, 1923, she was united in marriage to Albert Anderson. The couple then farmed in Tyro until 1937 when they moved to Clarkfield. She has resided at the Clarkfield Nursing Home the past six years. She passed away at the Clarkfield Community Hospital on September 4, 1967, at the age of 90 years. Preceding her in death were her husband, Albert; a step-daughter, Alice (Mrs. Heimer Johnson); and all her twelve sisters and brothers. She is survived by four step-daughters and two step-sons: Dora (Mrs. Clifford Dotseth), Myrtle (Mrs. Hilmer Appelwick), Albertha (Mrs. Forest Johnson), Anna (Mrs. Elmer Anderson), Arthur and Harry Anderson; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, J.L. Anderson of Sun City, Arizona; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Oscar Willander of Clarkfield, and Mrs. Albert W. Willander of Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Anderson was an honorary member of the ladies aid the past 20 years and previously was active in church affairs. She was a quiet loving mother and grandmother. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
