Jeannine Sannerud, of Clarkfield, died January 20, 2016, at the Clarkfield Care Center, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 79. Jeannine Doris (Weidauer) Sannerud was born at home on February 4, 1936, in Fairview Township, Lyon County, Minnesota, to August and Lillian (Anderson) Weidauer. She attended school in Tracy, Minnesota, graduating in 1954. Jeannine married Curtis Sannerud in Marshall on May 21, 1955. They lived on a farm near Hazel Run where she worked alongside Curtis. Besides working on the farm, Jeannine worked at the cafe in Clarkfield, at the bank in Marshall and Clarkfield, for the county agent in Clarkfield as well as bookkeeping for various businesses. Curtis and Jeannine had three children together: Sherrie, Terry and Shelley. Jeannine was active in the Young Republicans, Birthday Club, Women's Auxiliary and the Rural Neighbors group. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, golf and her cats. She treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family and friends will remember her as a great cook and how she loved to serve people. Jeannine is survived by her husband, Curtis: her children: Sherrie (Kevin) Adolph of Rushmore, Minnesota, Terry (Nancy) Sannerud of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Shelley Glad also of Clarkfield, Minnesota; six grandchildren: Anthony (Heidi) Adolph, Samantha Scholten, Terry Jon (Casandra) Sannerud, Blaine (Candi) Sannerud, Spenser Sannerud, and Jordan Glad; seven great- grandchildren: Isabel, Abel, Montana, Bentley, Josephine, Kinsley, and Christian; two brothers: Duane (Marie) Weidauer of Olivia, Minnesota, and Dwight (Fran) Weidauer of Phoenix, Arizona; and other relatives and friends. Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents; a great-grandson, Brycen Sannerud; a nephew, Teddy Bartel; mother and father-in-law, Christian and Margaret Sannerud and sisters-in-law, Marlo Sannerud and Eleanor Weidauer.
