Jean Lois (Wilson) Nicklasson (November 26, 1924 ~ March 24, 2011) Jean Lois (Wilson) Nicklasson was born November 26, 1924, the daughter of Alice C. (Anderson) and Alden O. Wilson. She was baptized and confirmed at Bergen Lutheran Church and graduated from Clarkfield High School in 1942. Following graduation she left home and completed a business college program in Minneapolis. She was employed at Cargill and Samsonite in Minneapolis, Chicago and Denver. In the mid fifties, she returned to Montevideo and owned and operated "Jean's Shoe Box" for 20 years. In 1967 Jean married Henry "Hank" Nicklasson. She enjoyed flower gardening, yard work, crafts, traveling, reading the Star Tribune every day and Minnesota Twins Baseball. Jean became a resident at Luther Haven in Montevideo in 2004. She passed away at Luther Haven on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the age of 86 years, 3 months and 26 days. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Hank, in 2006; and brother, Woodrow Wilson in 1996. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Wilson (Gorman) Velde; nephews: Paul (Debra) Wilson, James (Cathy) Wilson; nieces: Pamela Lynner, Colleen (Mark) Bott, Carol (Dennis) Londgren; and extended family.
