Janneve Grace was born September 6, 1915, to Henry and Martha (Olaveson) Allickson near Watson, Minnesota, in Swift County. She was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Chippewa County, Minnesota. She attended school in Montevideo, Minnesota. She was confirmed April 27, 1930, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo, Minnesota, by Rev. John M. Mason. On October 18, 1959, Janneve and Ervin Leppke were married at First Lutheran Church at Gary, South Dakota, by Pastor Eckhardt. They have been residing on their farm in Omro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. Mrs. Leppke passed away May 16, 1979, at the age of 63 years. Survivors include her husband, Ervin; her mother, Mrs. Martha Allickson of Clarkfield, Minnesota; three brothers: Alvin Allickson of Brainerd, Minnesota, Bernard Allickson of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, and Henry Allickson of Montevideo, Minnesota; two sisters: Inez (Mrs. Dale Stringer) of Clarkfield, and Mrs. Gloria Evans of California; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Alma Leppke; brothers-in-law: Wilfred, Curtis and Kermit Leppke; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Allickson in 1930.
