Janet Faye (Harms) Quenemoen was born June 27, 1941, in Hammer Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to parents John and Donna (Johnson) Harms. She was baptized at the Presbyterian Church in Canby, Minnesota, and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Canby. She graduated from Canby High School in 1959. Janet married Russell Jerome Quenemoen on May 5, 1962, in South Dakota. They were the parents of a son, Richard. Janet and Russell lived on their farm South of Clarkfield, Minnesota. Russell passed away in 1993. Janet remained on the farm for a few years and made several moves, with living at Valhalla Apartments in Clarkfield for a few years. She was a member of the Clarkfield Lutheran Church, CLCW, and enjoyed crocheting and being involved with her Grandchildren. Janet passed away at the Clarkfield Care Center on Sunday, February 6, 2005, at the age of 63 years, 7 months, and 10 days. She is survived by her son, Richard (and Sheryl) Quenemoen of Albertville, Minnesota, and step children: Dr. Lowell (and Ruth) Quenemoen of Billings, Montana, Faye Lou (and Dean) Johanson of Beverly Hills, Florida, and Reed (and Sue) Quenemoen of Spicer, Minnesota; and four Grandchildren and their families. Also surviving are her brothers Donald (and Carol) Harms and Robert (and Carol) Harms, brother-in-law Howard Jurgenson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell, son-in-law Gary Larson, and sister Phyllis Jurgenson. Blessed be her memory.
